Cannovation Package Redesign
In collaboration with Graham Coomes, Ian Darcy, Alex Herpain, and Aiden Metz
IDEATION

Approached by the company Cannovation, a group of fellow University of Cincinnati students and I began to ideate for a redesign of their packaging to better show off their revolutionary product of reusable cans
Dozens of sketches and concepts were thrown out, all centering around the focuses of demonstrating the product, being appealing to consumers, and easily reproducible in a factory setting

The final iteration was drawn and modeled. given the 48-hour window in which this challenge was to partake, time management was key to success
CONSTRUCTION
We split the project requirements among two teams, one creating a realistic render of the packaging for our promotional video, the other building an accurate physical rendition of the case

The physical model was built, tested, and rebuilt with stronger material, the time frame growing ever shorter. Meanwhile, the 3D model was coming together well, and work on the animation had begun
The physical model was completed, and fast filming was necessary for a quality final presentation. This footage was to be combined with the various animations for an in-depth look at our design
